Great Time in Australia

Kerri and I had an awesome time in Australia this past week. We were at the Hillsong Conference and it was absolutley incredible. TD Jakes, Brian Houston, Ed Young, Jospeh Prince, Louie Giglio, Jentzen Franklin, John Bevere, and Christine Caine were some of the speakers so needless to say it was heavy. It was great to hang out with friends and get a snapshot of what God is doing globally. Kerri and I are very thankful that God has connected us into this world and has allowed us to get to know several of these incredible leaders in the body of Christ. We are on our way back now (about 24 hours of flying) and we are looking forward to being back and seeing everybody this weekend. I am really "full" spiritually and ready to preach this weekend!

Hopefully you and Kerri are back and finding yourselves somewhat rested. I've been looking forward to another entry in Kerri's blog as it's nice to correspond and get to know you both in a small capacity. I am looking forward to you preaching on Sunday and the sharing of stories and how Christ has been working in your lives. My husband and I have been struggling financially (and as a result emotionally) for some time now. Sunday messages of how God works in our lives and the concepts of faith and the importance of believing, have been keeping us going week to week.

One side of me envies you in that I picture your life being surrounded by christians and positive energy & influence. Yet, having pastors in my family, I know it is not always that picture-perfect. Life is challenging - whether it is being affected by Satan directly, or our own human nature playing with our minds and manifesting itself negatively. Am hoping to meet some christian couples this summer as another dose of positive reinforcement. God helps those who help themselves, right? Good to have you all back home.

Dear Pastor Stovall,
I hope you had a great time in Australia. My husband and I just started attending Celebration Church about a month ago. My husband got transfered here, he is an officer in the Navy. We found your church online about a year before we moved here, totally God!!!! We moved from Virginia Beach, where we attended Wave Church. Pastor Steve and Sharon Kelly are the pastors there. Pastor Steve used to be the associate pastor at Hillsong Church, his mentor was and still is Pastor Brian Houston. I was wondering if you have ever met him. He usually attends the Hillsong Conference every year. They are great pastors and we miss them alot!!!!! It has been such a blessing being a part of Celebration. Its just like being at home and my husband and I immediatly felt right at home when we walked thru the door. We appreciate everything you and Pastor Kerri do every week. Your sermons have been an inspiration to us. Thank you and we hope to meet you and Kerri sometime soon.
God bless

Dear Pastor Stovall,
I'm so glad that you and Kerri were able to attend the conference at Hillsong and returned safely and filled spiritually. We, the congration always benefit by this. When times get hard, I not only hear the Holy Spirit in my soul but also the voice of both you and Kerri from sermons in the past and it lifts me up and sets my feet back from the path of fear to the path of love. I also want to thank you for the Care Force Leadership training this summer. WOWZERS! It is the best training I've ever been to and the speakers deliver the message with compassion, intelligence, love and humor. I've gained such insight, not only into the members of the group I facilitate, but into myself. The local Celebration facilitators have been awesome too and it makes me feel encouraged that my pastors thinks enough of their congregation to get us this quality of training. It has already helped me in facilitating FFAITH that has been meeting for the past 18 months.
Your paying attention to the small details and the cornerstones of individual growth of all your people shows how much you love us and love the church. It's wonderful that you REALLY see/know how the little foxes spoil the vines so you provide us with insight to higher spiritual being. It is such a joy to have pastors that are so annointed. Thank you Stovall.
