Traditional Service?

Celebration with a traditional service? Absolutely! There is a lot of buzz about the new tradtional style service that is kicking off on July 22 - so here is an idea of what our new "traditional service" will look like. We realize the word traditional means a lot of different things to different people but basically the idea is a softer, more "reverential" feel to the Celebration style. I just really want to be able to minister in Celebration style to a demographic that would prefer a softer, simpler sound with redone hymns and mainstream worship classics. There will be kneeling and communion and no moving lights. While I think people of all ages will enjoy this service, I am especially hoping that we can better minister to our 50's and 60's+ in our church and provide a worship environment where they will feel more comfortable bringing their friends.

Pastor, it's gonna be awesome! I can't wait to try it myself. Thank you for leading our church by your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and casting the vision for the call of God for our church. We are a church set apart with a different style but I'm glad you want to appeal to all the lost. We love you, support you and pray for you (no matter how crazy you are)! You're the best!

I think the Traditional Service is a wonderful idea, It
feels like the older generation has been left out and just had to endure in church these days with the loud music that viberates your body and lights flashing that end up giving you a headache by the time church it over. You are an excellant Minister, we love hearing you preach... this is wonderful news.

Pastor, I am so excited. I have been coming to Celebration a long time, I didn't want to find another church because I love to hear you speak, but I just haven't been getting "into" the music lately. What time on Sunday's? I will be there.

Wonderful idea. For some of us who grew up with a softer gentler church life this is a breath of air! We really miss the comfort of the music and the words that were so dearly imprinted on our hearts. I hope the word gets out so that this will be a great success.

Pastor Stovall, We're tweens --- between 50 and 60 yrs old & we love what is happening at Celebration Church. The only change we would make to the existing service is a quieter altar time where the music is not so distractive to the sweetness of the moment of decision and prayer. It's too loud. The rest of the music, the lights -- an explosion of Joy in His temple! Bill & Sheila

We are excited about the new services at Celebration! SO glad we are always trying something new. Just wanted to say.. my wife and I may be considered closer to the "old" section... but we always Love it Loud!

We're really happy to learn of the new traditional service being planned. I do have one thought -- If you are not able to speak there in person, Pastor Stovall, why not have Pastor Brock speak? He's such a solid guy and we all would love to hear from him if you're not available.

Keep up the great work! We praise God for raising up such an awesome church through your vision, and we're with you 1000 percent! God bless you and your family!

Pastor, we just read about the ideas for the new traditional church service. We understand it is meant to reach the 50's 60's crowd but, we are in our 50's and love the upbeat style of Celebration Church. I personally have always had difficulty in attending the traditional churches and was very happy when I found Celebraton Church. The atmosphere is joyous and uplifting. I have never felt the desire to stand up and sing in other churches but the music at Celebration Church is very inviting and I love the energy. We also like the moving lights.

Our best regards,
Brad and Freda
