Is It Really Time for School?

I can’t believe that my kids go back to school next week. This summer just flew by. My son Stovie is also playing football this year. He is only 7 years old so I am going to let him test the waters and hopefully he will like it. I love football – I loved it when I played and now I love watching it and studying the game. It would be great if Stovie enjoyed playing but I am not gonna put any pressure on him. I am so thankful for my wife and kids.

Just wanted to say that the message at LateNite this weekend was.. well, i dont even have words, it was awesome. I went to purchase it and they said they didnt record it, what a waste, because that was such a great message. Thanks for all you do.
BTW the message Sunday was fantastic as well, it was just that the fire and intensity on Saturday night with the music was just intense.
Wish we could be with you guys for the married event this week, unfortuantly with school starting we have to put our finances all towards getting that taken care of.
As for football, please say an extra prayer, my son starts tryouts today for JV football..

Okay, this is kind of oddly funny. My son is in your son, Stovie's class this year and last night at orientation, my husband saw the name and asked me if that was your son. I must admit I was clueless to the name and googled you and happened on to this blog. I see that John Wyatt has a comment posted for you. My son, Chris spent a week at epic surf camp this summer. He was probably the youngest one in his week and I have to say, I was terrified! But what I wanted to say that John and the entire epic surf staff were incredibly wonderful. It was just a great group of people, and it's just funny that this summer the Lord has brought several people into our lives from Celebration church, all of them have been wonderful. So, I say all of that to say that I am excited for this next school year and I look forward to meeting you and keep up the good work for the Kingdom!
